Prattley offer an integrated design and planning, budgeting, manufacture and site installation service for livestock handling facilities.

We have been employed by private and public organisations to design, manufacture and install livestock handling facilities. These, organisations include Cargill Australia, Wagga Wagga Saleyards, Tasman Meats, Roadcon, Western Australia Meat Marketing Co-operative and Wanderribby Feedlot to name a few.

The cornerstone of our business is our team of five stockyard designers. They have over 35 years experience collectively.

The designers use information about the site, gleaned from site survey or satellite information. This is combined with consultation with managers to design state of the art facilities. This collective knowledge of the Prattley design team will make suer all industry issues are considered, including;

• Stock flow and safety of animals.
• Need for labour efficiency
• OH & S issues
• Various industry standards and Australian standards.

Prattley have a manufacturing base in Wagga Wagga, NSW, with a workshop staff of 25 people. All fabricators are tradesmen or apprentices. A variety of machines are used, including section rollers, folders, a dedicated sheet metal rolling line and a plasma profile cutter to achieve economical production of sophisticated design.

Prattley have a three person draughting team producing workshop drawings and orders. Most projects are drawn in a 3D auto cad program for accurate, economical fabrication.

Contract yard installers can be supplied to travel to site to install yard systems. All contractors have good knowledge of our product and standards required. Using our pre-fabricated product the time from starting to completion on site is usually less than two weeks for any on property yards.
